The regular August meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by President John Miller.
There were no announcements.
The minutes of the May meeting were submitted by Ed Snow for posting to the web page by Ed Gravely.  Since there was no meeting in June 2010 due to lack of attendance, the May minutes were consider the last minutes of record for this meeting.
Motion to accept minutes as posted: Ron Williams; second by Jim Smith.
Motion accepted.

Treasurer’s Report by Ron Williams.
Ron said we had balance on the last statement of $1307.65.  He recently paid about $9.00 to Ed Gravely for the web page leaving a balance of about $1298.65. Motion to accept report: Leslie Fromm; second by Ed Snow.
Motion accepted.

Old Business:
Ed Gravely would like to take a break and would appreciate it if someone else would take up the duties of webmaster.  Still no takers, but some interest was express by Ron Williams and Ed Snow if someone could provide some basic instructions. 
As for the Joint fun fly that John suggested last month, Max and Tod Blose have offered that we might consider and fun fly at Valley Mills as part of a celebration for the opening of their new asphalt runway.  All agreed that in any case we should wait until sometime in September 2010 when it will not be so hot.
