MINUTES OF THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE WHITNEY AREA MINIATURE AIRCRAFT CLUB

Meeting called to order at 7:01 pm by President Mike Atchley.

Welcome to Visitors (there were no visitors)

+$ 147.00 - Pioneer Days raffle
- $ 137.64 - cost of plane for raffle

Old Business
Pioneer Days Update by Vernon Snyder: 147 tickets sold. Lots of business cards (with club & website info) given out. Donnette Trimble won plane; her son flys.

New Business
Tri Club Funfly in the works - "I gave it some more thought and it looks like it would have to take place on the May 16/17 or 30/31 weekend. Mothers' Day is the 10th and Memorial Day weekend is the 23/24 (people make other plans for the holiday weekend) and a problem may exist with the last weeken in May because of school graduations!" - Doug Stains AMA chapter rep

Vernon made suggestion that we join the Chamber of Commerce; 125.00 per year and an ad is put in the chamber booklet.*

Door Prizes
Thanks to Max Blose who donated enough door prizes for each attending member to receive one and the glue set was one by Donna Huse.
